What, to you, is the first sign of spring? Have you seen it yet?
Submitted by Spy.
Ay, spy: geese crossing and chickens screaming.
When do you file your taxes? Do you do it yourself or get outside help?
Among many other matters, I'm a fool when it comes to finances. Thankfully my big brother knows what he's doing and bails me out annually. I hate money; that's why I'm always trying to get rid of it!
Which household chores do you most/least enjoy?
Submitted by falcon.kmc.
Most:
1. Wiping the kitchen counter clean - marvel at my smooth moves.
2. Cleaning dishes in the sink - I clean up well too.
3. Tidying and organizing whatever needs tidying and organizing - everything in it's place.
Least:
1. Cleaning the bathtub - how does soap make things dirty?
2. Dusting - did you know that most dust is actually dead skin? Talk about picking up after yourself...
3. Ironing - now you know why I seldom wear a dress shirt anymore. That got old quick.
You're trapped in a (temporarily) out of order elevator - who would you like to be trapped with?

Congrats, tbtissimus, on the QOTD. Right about now I'd be happy just to be thrown a blanket and a pillow to catch a few extra Zs in the forced down-time. Actually, right about now I could make do without either. Right, back to bed.
Post a screenshot of the videogame you've been playing. Bonus points for capturing it yourself!

Normal people have comfort foods; I have comfort games.

Done and done; just take a closer look at that giant monkey down below: "Curious George Visits Jurassic Park".
Video: Show us your favorite movie scene.

This scene just gets more ridiculous the longer it goes. I don't know what's best; the silly sound effects, the slick seventies soundtrack or the absurd action. I love it.
Show us your bookshelf.

Behold my bookshelf. Let's see, first the fun stuff: 8-bit video game cartridges, several translations of Homer's epics, and a multitude of books dealing with myths and legends. Not pictured (because they look boring by comparison): Latin books, philosophy texts, reference materials and do-it-yourself volumes.
Yeah, that's exactly what I meant. Even though I wasn't in the room. read more
